What we have done

• Text and background colours are checked for contrast, so text stays readable.
• You can use the whole site with a keyboard, and the item you are on is always visible.
• The site works on a phone, and text can be enlarged without losing content.
• Images have text descriptions, and headings are used in a logical order.
• There is a "skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
• We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA.

Known limits

Our policy pages are converted from Word documents, so they are long and text-heavy. Each one has a contents list at the side to help you jump to a section.
